WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
As this is an exciting newly created role at Candeno, significant responsibilities follow. Below are some of the key tasks you will undertake:

• Scrum Adoption: Guide and coach the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
• Facilitate Meetings: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives.
  
• Remove Obstacles: Identify and remove any impediments that obstruct the team’s pursuit of its sprint goals.
• Team Health: Promote self-organization and empowerment and improve team cohesion.
• Product Owner Support: Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog effectively.
• Sprint Planning: Aid in sprint planning and help the team to define realistic sprint goals.
• Continuous improvement: Encourage and lead the team towards continuous improvement, including reviewing and adapting the definition of “Done”.
• Conflict Resolution: Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team.
• Process Enforcement: Uphold the rules of Scrum, and help the team adhere to Scrum theory, practices, and rules.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to maximize the value created by the team.
  

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

YOUR DEVELOPMENT PLAN
At Candeno, we will do our utmost to support your success and ensure a smooth transition into the new role. We have outlined your expected development, as follows:

14 days

• Gain an understanding of the team, product, and current Scrum practices.
• Familiarize yourself with the Scrum ceremonies and how they are conducted.
• Begin participating in Scrum ceremonies and daily stand-ups.

One month

• Start facilitating Scrum ceremonies, with guidance.
• Identify and start addressing simple impediments impacting the team.
• Begin supporting the Product Owner in managing the product backlog.

Three months

• Independently facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.
• Actively remove impediments that obstruct the team’s progress.
• Start promoting team self-organization and improve team health.

Six months

• Independently facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.
• Actively remove impediments that obstruct the team’s progress.
• Start promoting team self-organization and improve team health.
